26th August 2012: Zhenya Strigalev with glowing 4 Star review in Bass Guitar Magazine

Zhenya Strigalev released ‘Smiling Organizm‘ with us just in May this year, and it was met with a storm of great press from around the globe. Featuring an all star cast of musicians in Liam Noble on piano, Tim Lefebvre on electric bass, Larry Grenadier on double bass, and Eric Harland on drums, ‘Smiling Organizm’ is a mashed up, no holds barred sprint through nu-funk meets hard-bop meets free improv meets punk meets dixieland and more, and features an eclectic and broad palette compositional approach by the leader as well.
