21st May 2012: Whirlwind Recordings confirms new distribution deals in Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Luxembourg, Austria, The Netherlands, Belgium, Canada and Australia

Whirlwind Recordings is going places…………

We’ve had a great month so far releasing albums by George Crowley and Euan Burton (both have had GREAT support so far), but also we’re very exciting to say that our label is going places in a big way! We’ve just signed up brand new distribution deals in Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Luxembourg, Austria, The Netherlands, Belgium, Canada and Australia, which means ALL of our releases will be appearing in all good record stores that stock Jazz and World music in the next few months in these territories.  We’re currently signing to other countries as we speak and more on that soon.   Detailed information on how and who distribute all of our releases both physically and digitally can be viewed on our DISTRIBUTION page.  You can also click to see the great distribution partners we’ve signed with, who are all major players in their respective territories.  

In order to get distribution nowadays, a record label has to have a very strong catalog; therefore we’re very proud of all of our world class artists for helping get the word and sound out of creative improvised music!  And a big shout out to all our fans and supporters who chose to support us directly by purchasing our music.
