14th February 2022: Second Pressing Alert – Samara Joy debut LP to have second pressing

We’re happy to finally share the news that Samara Joy‘s debut LP will have a second pressing.

Her first pressing, in Violet Marble vinyl, sold out faster than we could print it. Big thanks to everyone who purchased this – you’re now the proud owner of her exclusive and limited first edition (surely set to be a collector’s item in years to come).

The second pressing will be a limited edition run in 180 gram black vinyl, shipping this summer.

Although we’re going to print a lot more on this second run, make sure to order now to avoid disappointment as the demand for this has been incredibly high.

ABOUT THE ALBUM Samara Joy is a singing star in ascendancy. The young vocalist attracted attention in 2019 after winning the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. Now, the 21-year-old announces her self-titled debut release, which puts her spin on jazz standards from the Great American Songbook. Produced by Grammy-nominated veteran Matt Pierson, she’s joined by jazz guitar virtuoso Pasquale Grasso and his trio (Ari Roland and Kenny Washington) for a release that furthers Joy’s reputation as one of America’s most promising young jazz vocalists.
