5th July 2019: Saxophonist and composer Jasper Blom is awarded the prestigious Boy Edgar Prize + Jazz Views review of ‘Polyphony’
Congratulations to saxophonist and composer Jasper Blom who has been awarded the Boy Edgar Prize 2019, the most prestigious award for jazz and improvised music in the Netherlands. The news was announced at inJazz, the jazz network and showcase event in Rotterdam. Jasper is regarded as one of the most pivotal tenor and soprano saxophonists on the Dutch jazz scene and is renowned for his compositional synthesis of jazz, pop, classical and improvised music.
