5th November 2013: Reviews In for The Bannau Trio’s Latest Release ‘Points of View’ from Bebop Spoken Here and Marlbank

Nia Lynn’s Bannau Trio released their debut WWR album Points of View yesterday following a recent sold-out album launch at Kings Place earlier last month and already we have in two glowing reviews for the new release, with the first from Bebop Spoken Here who state the album as “another winner from Whirlwind” and Marlbank who describe Nia as having “pristine vocals with a strong technical command”.  

The album features the world-renowned flautist (and WWR Artist) Gareth Lockrane and pianist Ross Stanley as well as special guest vocalist Norma Winstone. Nia is known as one of the UK’s most creative vocalists and emotive songwriters with the ability to sing deeply personal, self-penned compositions to counterpointing lines alongside some of the most advanced instrumentalists on the scene.
