23rd June 2013: Phil Robson’s ‘Philanthropix’ Perform at ShapeShifter Lab, Thurs. 27th June 2013

The highly acclaimed, versatile & not to mention globe-trotting guitarist Phil Robson will be performing this coming Thursday 27th June at one of New York’s premier creative music venues, The ShapeShifter Lab in Brooklyn; a newly rennovated, unique venue ran by the world renown bassist Matthew Garrison.  Phil has already been performing with his trio featuring Ernesto Simpson at this years’ Rochester Jazz Festival.

Phil will be performing with some fantastic musicians from both New York and London, including: John O’Gallagher, saxophone; Jason Palmer, trumpet; the legendary Billy Hart, drums; and Dave Whitford, double bass. Music will include tunes from previous album(s), including from his WWR release The Immeasurable Code as well as material written specifically for this line up.
