Alto saxophonist Patrick Cornelius is a name well-known to Whirlwind Recordings fans. He has built a substantial reputation as a saxophonist, composer, solo artist and educator that has seen him rack up nine albums as a leader. Fourteen years ago Cornelius and Michael Janisch teamed up with Paul Wiltgen and Kristjan Randalu for a tour that turned into a band that have recorded extensively on the label.

Patrick’s Way Of The Cairns is inspired by experiences of hiking in Maine’s Acadia National Park. The album is now available to pre-order on our site: here.
