The band have shows at Birmingham’s Fleet Street Kitchen (date to be confirmed) and at The Crypt in London (31/07/15) before embarking on a major tour of the UK in November which will include a date (13/11/15) at Cadogan Hall, playing opposite ‘James Farm’ featuring Joshua Redman, Aaron Parks, Matt Penman and Eric Harland as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.

Partisans have received incredible feedback for both Swamp and for their recent shows even from luminaries such as Steve Swallow and have been enjoying airplay on all the major UK jazz radio programmes.  ‘Flip the Sneck’  from Swamp is featured on the Whirlwind Sampler album on the cover of  the April Issue of Jazzwise Magazine. Swamp is the fifth studio album from Partisans, who since their formation in 1996 have been thrilling audiences the world over with their ferociously energetic performances. They’ve been credited with bridging the gap between New York swing, European improv and UK jam. Co-led by two of the pre-eminent musicians of their generation, Phil Robson (guitars) and Julian Siegel (tenor sax & bass clarinet), the quartet line-up is completed by Thaddeus Kelly (bass) and Gene Calderazzo (drums).
