2nd October 2020: #OTD 20 years ago, Radiohead released ‘Kid A’ – Rick Simpson’s second single ‘Kid A’ premieres on Jazz In Europe today – ‘Everything All Of The Time: Kid A Revisited’ available to pre-order on 12″ LP 180g Limited Edition Black & Gold Split Vinyl, CD & DL on #BandcampFriday

Today marks twenty years since Radiohead released their genre-defining album Kid A, an album that has provided inspiration for countless musicians over the years, including jazz musicians from Robert Glasper to Jamie Cullum. This time, British pianist Rick Simpson reimagines the album with a quintet of the finest musicians on the UK circuit – Tori Freestone and James Allsopp join on saxophones, with Dave Whitford (bass) and Will Glaser (drums) providing backline support.
