28th February 2012: New review for Michael Janisch’s ‘Purpose Built’ from Rainlore’s Wolrd of Music.

‘Purpose Built‘ was the inaugural release for WWR in January of 2010 and firmly established WWR label boss Michael Janisch’s career as a solo artist.  It was praised greatly in the international press being called ‘The Complete Package’ by Jazz Times to earning a spot on the Critics List in the Village Voice ‘Best Debut’ albums of the year in 2010.  The album is our biggest seller to date, and low and behold some critics are still writing about it some two years later!  Here’s a very appreciative review from Rainlore’s World of Music that just came in.
