Last week, bassist and composer Michael Olatuja featured on Jazz FM’s Folded Space show with Tony Minvielle, speaking about the influences, experiences and musicians that inspired his latest release, Lagos Pepper Soup. The album is an exposition of Michael’s Cinematic Afrobeat style, and features a range of artists that reflect his journey from Nigeria through London to New York City.
