9th January 2014: Interview with Patrick Cornelius by the Boston Globe

In today we have an interview from Boston Globe with WWR artist Patrick Cornelius which talks of his achievements and recent projects, including a suite of six songs based on “When We Were Very Young” of A.A. Milne’s 1924 book of child-friendly poetry which made it’s premiere at Red Room at New York’s Cafe 939. You can view the interview for yourself here. 

Patrick’s two WWR releases, Fierce and Infinite Blue, both gained glowing reviews from critics with Infinite Blue being described by All About Jazz as “…another touchstone in his career… stunning for its melodic and emotional content” and stated by Passing Notes that on Fierce “Cornelius offers some of the most melodic and thoughtful playing heard on a new release all year… a truly notable album.”
