Saxophonist Josephine Davies continues to bring a distinctive voice to the UK Jazz scene. Her latest Satori project is the most spiritually engaged so far. How Can We Wake? engages in a spiritual, existential journey through a variety of different moods and mental states, to create a flowing response that embraces human mood swings.

Josephine enlists James Maddren and Dave Whitford on this their third outing as a trio on Whirlwind.
