ESKA is a London-born British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Following her first solo release Gatekeeper in 2013, her eponymous debut saw the light in 2015. She was closely associated with Brotherly, and appears on their compilation Analects on ‘Put It Out’.

ESKA (full name Eska Mtungwazi) steadily built a reputation in the UK as a backing singer, working with an eclectic range of established British artists and bands including Grace Jones, Courtney Pine, Nitin Sawhney and Bobby McFerrin. She is an alumna of Brownswood’s Future Bubblers programme and was nominated for a Mercury Music Prize in 2015.
