Kenny Warren’s April release In The Heat sees the Brooklyn trumpeter team up with bassist Matthias Pichler and drummer Nathan Ellman-Bell in a fluid exploration of the classic trio set up.

An unfiltered and deeply personal project, the album sounds pulls together the many diverse strands that form Warren’s creative personality, trusting his collaborators with the creative space to speak and express themselves. Detailed and complex yet built on solid musical kinship, In The Heat creates dialogue, conflict and release at every juncture.
