17th August 2016: Partikel to tour China later this year ahead of spring release of new album ‘Counteraction’ plus EFG London Jazz Festival date, London and Germany dates
Partikel are to release Counteraction the follow up to String Theory and Cohesion in the spring of 2017. Prior to this, they have a busy season of tours and live dates.
Partikel are three London-based musicians with very different musical backgrounds who make music that mixes their favorite influences in a melodic, coherent and accurate way. With Duncan Eagles on saxophones, Max Luthert on double bass and Eric Ford on drums, they’ve received much critical acclaim since their formation in 2009 and Jazzwise Magazine asserts the band is “one of the hottest young bands on the UK scene.”
Here’s Duncan talking about the upcoming tour of China this autumn.
